FAIR workshop on "Using Resampling and Simulation to Tackle Heterogeneity in Social Science Research"

FAIR workshop on "Using Resampling and Simulation to Tackle Heterogeneity in Social Science Research" took place on 22 and 25 September 2023.

The FAIR Workshop on Using Resampling and Simulation to Tackle Heterogeneity in Social Science Research has been successfully completed, bringing together experts from various disciplines. Hosted by the interdisciplinary research area FAIR in collaboration with the Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security, the two-day event took place on September 22 and 25, 2023, at TU Dortmund University and online via Zoom. Moritz Berger (Universität Bonn), Dennis Dobler (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Florian Dumpert (Statistisches Bundesamt), Sarah Friedrich (Universität Augsburg), Frank Konietschke (Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin) und Łukasz Smaga (Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza) introduced a wide range of topics. These included simulation techniques, resampling methods, multivariate data analysis, regression analysis, dealing with missing values and imputation methods.
