Jörg-Tobias Kuhn studied psychology at the University of Münster and RWTH Aachen University, where he obtained his diploma in 2004. He finished his PhD in psychology at the University of Münster in 2010. He proceeded as a psychometrician at the Federal Institute for Quality Assurance in the Austrian School System in Salzburg and the University of Münster before joining TU Dortmund University as a professor for methods of educational research in 2017.
